I especially enjoyed this assignment because what I mainly try to incorporate in all of my photos is utilizing the subject of my photograph by taking a different approach on it.  In this certain assignment, as well as some of my past assignments, I tried to use the subject "leading lines" in varied and in not so "obvious" ways. Although it was recommended to use black and white to enhance the "leading lines" theme, I found that by keeping my photos in color it added more depth and texture to my photos.

  1. I really like the way you developed this series of photos. Not only does it perfectly display your understanding of leading lines, but you also added new concepts in this cohesive set. I like how you also focused on foreground/background and changed the color patterns in order to present a specific mood.

  2. It's nice to see someone not using black and white on this assignment. The colors were vibrant and really added life to every shot. Good job.

  6. Your photos are really pretty. I like how you chose to leave some of your pictures in color. I think it helps show the depth more. Especially in the photo of the flowers. The picture would have had a much different feel if you had put it in black and white.
