My goal for this set of photographs was to mirror Joel Meyerowitz techniques and photos, more specifically his Cape Cod photographs. I tried to use open spacious setting and focus primarily on a single object in my photographs. Meyerowitz Cape Cod set is very simplistic and airy and he uses bright vibrant colors in his photographs. I thought that the best place to mirror Meyerowitz Cape Cod photographs would be Crissy Field down in the Marina. I was able to shoot both landscapes and seascapes, as well as the beautiful architecture around there as well.Since it was harder to shoot people, I thought that the dogs worked as a good duplicate. I thought that the bright colors of the green field and the bridge were a perfect combination for what I could use in my photos.
